I missed National Pie Day!

Someone told that yesterday was National Pie Day!
Yes, we have a day for that. Honest we do!

I feel guilty that I did not bake a pie for the occasion, so tonight, I will bake a cherry pie for dessert.
Of course, today is National Spouses Day/Military Spouses Day, so that'll cover that base , too, as my Darlin' Man LOVES cherry pie!

    My 14yo stepdaughter just loves to bake. Especially pies. Last night she made oatmeal cookies. She's going to be both mad and happy about national pie day. Mad because she didn't bake a pie. Happy because she has a reason to bake one next years.
